Intersession Program
Every Monday, the instructional day ends at 1:15pm. Students transition to one of the following:
Nap at Breakthrough (for students who are in PK3)
Dismissal to families or caregivers
Dismissal to Intersession programs

Intersession Program Options
PK3 students can remain at Breakthrough to nap: These students follow the same schedule Monday through Friday.
Students in PK4-Grade 6 can sign up for an Intersession program. For programs that are not hosted at Breakthrough Montessori, students will either walk with program partners or take a shuttle bus to the program location. Families must pick up from the program location at the end of Intersession (students do not return to Breakthrough Montessori). Families are responsible for registering their child and paying the corresponding registration fee. Costs, discounts, and pickup times are set independently by each community partner — contact them directly with questions about registration, discounts, or their aftercare policy.
Fall registration opens August 15 and closes September 1, 2026. The fall intersession program starts September 14-December 7.
Spring registration opens December 1-18. Spring intersession program starts January 11-June 7.
